Henry Hutcheson to Speak at FPA of the Triangle’s March Meeting
CARY, NC…FEBRUARY 12, 2009…The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) of the Triangle recently announced that Henry Hutcheson, Principal of Regeneration Partners, will speak at its March 12, 2009 meeting, 11:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
FPA is the non-profit membership organization for the financial planning community with more than 28,500 members in 100 chapters across the country. FPA connects those who need, support and deliver financial planning. We believe that everyone is entitled to objective advice from a competent, ethical financial planner to make smart financial decisions. FPA members demonstrate and support a professional commitment to education and a client-centered financial planning process.
Hutcheson’s presentation – Dynamics of Family Business for the Professional Advisor – will provide a base understanding of those characteristics and dynamics unique to family businesses, highlight some of the key areas where family businesses fail and teach the audience some basic tools to better manage a family business. It will equip professional advisors with some added value beyond their core competency, and thus provide a competitive advantage over those who are unfamiliar with family business dynamics.
The FPA Board of Directors will also be holding the Annual FPA of the Triangle Membership Meeting during this event. Past accomplishments, future goals and the organization’s budget will be discussed.
