Description: Are you looking for that next career opportunity? The Potter Financial Group, a 25 year plus independent Financial Planning firm, is looking to hire a Para planner to help assist planners in preparing modular and comprehensive financial plans utilizing leading planning software and analytic tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Participate in data gathering during Discovery meetings with clients and follow up with clients as necessary to obtain appropriate financial plan inputs
  • Analyze and organize client data for financial plans
  • Assist in the continued refinement of the firm's financial planning process and help establish operational policies and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation and packaging of financial plans.
  • Follow up on cases with the carrier and/or vendor and client on a regular basis.
  • Prepare for client meetings by gathering materials needed.
  • Research and analyze financial statements; industry, regulatory, and economic information; new government legislation; and financial periodicals and newspapers
  • Review work processes for potential quality improvements and efficiencies; implement them when appropriate.
 
IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS:
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Required: At least 3 years of financial services experience
  • Preferred: CFP
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required: FINRA Series 7 License
  • Preferred: Life and Health Insurance License
