Pro Bono outreach opportunity with the Boys and Girls Club in Raleigh

Pro Bono outreach opportunity with the Boys and Girls Club in Raleigh on May 18th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America are a grant recipient and are doing outreach to parents of the students that are active in their respective clubs. They have averaged 25-50 attendees for previous sessions. They would like a planner to address the audience in a group session for 45 – 60 minutes and then 1- 2 additional planners to be involved in a one on one “Ask the Planner” time for one hour. They will need to be fully bilingual Spanish speaking volunteers since 100% of the parents at this Boys and Girls Club are Latino. A Powerpoint for Navigating Financial Waters as well as an overview page on the Financial Matters Initiative, which includes MoneyMatters, BudgetingMatters, CreditMatters and InvestingMatters is available for those who are interested in participating. An additional outreach is planned for the Rocky Mount Boys and Girls Club on June 11th during the day. We are waiting to hear the exact time and whether or not they will need bilingual volunteers. We will post additional information as we receive it. If you are interested please contact Suzanne, Chapter Administrator.
